BRASLOU BIERE HAS RETURNED.
INEXPLICABLY IN NORTH CORNWALL.

The Infamous Braslou Bière. Born in a barn in Central France in 2016, exactly like Jesus, Braslou Bière reigned for a short time as the finest brewery in Western Braslou (pop. 334).

Now, the brewery that brought you offensive slogans, wildly inconsistent beers (both the highs and lows of which have yet to be equalled), and just a generally disappointing attitude has landed in North Cornwall like a crashed bird and we are making beer here and nobody really understands why. And yet here we are.

Find us at Barnfields Business Park, St Issey, PL27 7SE, perpetually waist deep in catastrophe, and see why you need to drink the beer that launched a thousand something or others. I’ve run out of steam.

Find out more about Braslou Bière by reading our books: A Beer in the Loire and Trouble Brewing in the Loire, both short-listed for the Fortnum and Mason food and drink award and available from all bookshops that have any sense of self worth.

OPENING HOURS

THURSDAY TO SATURDAY 1-6PM

A crashed bird.

I'm not as tall as that in real life.

A BEER IN THE LOIRE

A story of one family's ludicrous attempt to escape the rat race and move to French wine country to brew beer, despite not knowing how to brew beer.

Disaster follows calamity follows catastrophe as Tommy Barnes (that's me!) ploughs ahead with what was at best an ill-concieved idea in an attempt to feed his family. Available to preorder from Waterstones and Amazon.

TROUBLE BREWING IN THE LOIRE

The second part of the trilogy. Although I haven’t yet finished the third, so it’s really a potential trilogy. The brewery has been established. Tommy is far too pleased with himself. A second child is on it’s way and, as Tommy smugly points out to everyone who will listen, the second child is always easier than the first. Yep, Tommy is on easy street. Surely nothing could go wrong could it? Oh wait, no, it could go wrong. It could all go so, so wrong. Available from Waterstones and Amazon. Get it now while you are still alive.

OUR BEERS

SAFFRON HELLES
4.9%

A lager in name, but brewed with saffron which enriches the beer, gives it a new dimension and really turns it into a whole new beer style. Another first for Braslou Biere. Other breweries will follow. Remember who did it first. My favourite.

BLOOD OF BRASLOU
5,2%

It’s bitter. It’s red. It tastes a bit of orange. Nobody has done anything like this before. It’s kinda like a west coast fused with jazz and hip hop. I am the best. My personal favourite.

BERGER BLONDE
6%

Born in a dirty barn in BRASLOU, BERGER BLONDE is an evolution of the Belgian blonde beer. This beer will crush your dreams of being an accountant. Definitely my favourite beer.

TROPICAL. HAZY. All the other things. Undeniably my favourite beer.

ST ISSEY IPA 5.2%
